English I Honors students took the first part of the End of Course Exam today, which was the writing test. Students worked on the test from 8:30 until they finished it, which was generally around 10:00. We’ll be having the second part in a little over two weeks.

English 8 students completed the first act of The Diary of Anne Frank. We’ll be having a short test on the first act next week before we begin the final push of the year.

  • by Thursday, read through chapter 40 of Great Expectations using our skimming/quick-read method, but slow down and actually read chapter 39;
  • continue working on the online questions for chapters 20-30;
