First and fifth periods continued with the research portion of the third quarter unit on justice. We practiced brainstorming research questions to guide our research process, going over the types of questions and practicing each individual type.

Second and fourth periods worked on To Kill a Mockingbird by discussing in groups the question of Scout’s reliability as a narrator.

Homework
  • First and fifth periods: finish the research questions begin in class.
  • Second and fourth:
    • read chapters 5-8 from Mockingbird;
    • work on the first discussion question for Mockingbird
    • continue working on the Romeo and Juliet analysis.
