First period did some more preparatory reading work after a vocabulary quiz. Sixth period had a small quiz on the last two selections we read.

Second and fourth periods looked at three ways to organize a compare/contrast essay. We used my favorite topic: Windows versus Linux. (And you can probably guess which I prefer just from that topic selection.)
