English 8 students began the second part of their fourth-quarter major project: we looked at indirect characterization and the role it plays in drama (since all direct characterization would be in the stage directions to which the audience wouldn’t have access).

We looked at four passages from act 1 scene 2 in which characters reveal something about themselves or other characters.

Afterward, they worked on their projects in groups.

English I students ran their lit circles for the day before turning back to subordinate clauses:

Homework

  • English 8: prepare for your presentation as necessary.
  • English I Honors:
    • continue working on TKMB as directed by your lit circle;
    • complete the questions on Moodle for your given chapters;
    • finish the subordinate clause work handout (numbers 16-30).
