English 8 students continued working on their research for the argumentative essay we will be writing next week. Students should be finishing the research tomorrow. The next TDA will take place on Thursday, so we will have a shortened lesson then. We won’t begin working on the essay itself until Friday.

English I students went over the last article of the week, looking at a few of the words that were required for context clue work. We also went over a couple of potential TDA questions (something English 8 students have been doing regularly for about a week now) to get them ready for Thursday’s practice TDA.
