English 8 students assessed some others’ work (anonymously, of course) from last week when we were working on quote integrating and making flow quotes:

English I students worked on 1.2 from Romeo and Juliet. We looked at some of Capulet’s lines and saw how similar they are to some of Benvolio’s thoughts:

We looked at this in conjunction with the notion of Bevolio and Tybalt being foils. These characters are not foils but instead seem to be something like the opposite: characters who have a few noticeable similarities in their personalities and thinking.
