English 8 students began a hopefully-weekly bit of practice planning and thinking through Anne-Frank-related TDAs in preparation for the actual state-administered TDA next month.

Local attorney Jim Bannister met today with Mrs. Hinner’s and my English I classes to talk about the trial of Tom Robinson in “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Mr. Bannister helped students see all the evidence Atticus Finch missed while defending Robinson. All the students agreed: they saw the novel in an entirely new light after meeting with Mr. Bannister.
