All students began working on their No Red Ink work that will continue throughout the rest of the year. Details in the homework section above.

English 8 students worked on chapter 3 from Nightjohn, looking to see what connections they could have made in their “It Says/I Say” work. The final minutes of class were dedicated to completing the One-Pager (due Thursday) and working on the No Red Ink work as necessary.

English I students worked on connotation in “Those Winter Sundays” before working on connotation in the Theodore Rothke poem “My Papa’s Waltz.”

We’ll finish up tomorrow with the poem before moving on to the next topic.

Students at home can watch the recording of today’s class here.
