First and fifth periods combined the work of the last few lessons to do some more practice with commas and note taking. We’ll stop with the direct instruction on the Cornell method now and begin simply using it as a note standard in class.

Second and fourth periods continued working with the issue of imagery in Romeo and Juliet 4.3.

Note to Second and Fourth Period Students

Your rubric and results for the first paragraph of the Romeo and Juliet project are available at the courses site. Additionally, you’ll be able to look up your identification number as well, but only for a limited time.

Homework
  • First and fifth periods: none.
  • Second and fourth periods: finish reading Romeo and Juliet act four.
