First and fifth periods continued working on The Diary of Anne Frank, with the first groups presenting their version of the play. We finished by introducing the third of eight sentence patterns we will work on this year, which includes appositives for additional information.

Second and fourth periods continued with the propaganda unit. We had a writing and discussion session regarding the role, if any, propaganda should play in society. We began by watching some very interesting words Joseph Goebbels, Propaganda Minister for Nazi Germany, had to say about the subject.
