First period had another go at The Diary of Anne Frank today. We spent enough time going over the second scene as a class to illustrate fully that preparation for the project will be an absolute must. We’ll divide into groups and get started tomorrow.
Second and sixth periods had their first presentations today. I believe some of the students were a little surprised at their performance: I think they had the impression it would be easier than they’d anticipated. Since this is a major project grade, there will be a Mulligan of sorts: students will be presenting in act two as well, and that will give students a chance to improve their grades (I will count only the best of the two).
Fourth period finished act three today by looking at the decisions they’d made about cutting portions from 3.3-3.5.
