English 8 students had their final day of presentations for the Diary of Anne Frank play. Students who were absent when their groups presented will have an opportunity later to make up that major grade.

English I students began examining the wonderful twenty-fourth chapter of Mockingbird. It’s a chapter that at first seems very confusing because of the intentional ambiguities the author included, but it is one of the best chapters in American literature.

Homework

  • complete the No Red Ink from this week (there are two assignments);
  • complete the comprehension questions for act 1 scene 3 and scene 4 by tomorrow (Tuesday).
• English I Honors: 
  • complete practice 1 and practice 2 for subordinate clause identification;
  • reread the excerpt from chapter 24 on Google Classroom.
