English 8 students worked on their flow quotes a little more today. This round of practice will be significantly more challenging: not only do I not supply the quotes but also I don’t supply the claim. (English I students: how would be the best way to revise that sentence?)

English I kiddos began reading Romeo and Juliet, looking at the opening scene in which Sampson and Gregory carry on with each other, essentially doing the dozens with each other (or at least Sampson is trying to do that).

We’ll be working on this scene for another day or so.
