We looked a little more closely at the second method (looking for interrupters) in conjunction with the third method (clear up pronoun/antecedent ambiguity). It can lead to new bracketing possibilities.

English 8 students worked on a Gimkit to practice for a test tomorrow.

• English I Honors: 
  • read “The Cask of Amontillado” on Moodle;
  • review the summary at Moodle after you’ve read it to check comprehension;
  • get to know your teacher a little better by following his newly-created playlist on Spotify, music that has moved your goofy teacher in one way or another over the years: one new song by a different performer every school day. (Bear in mind: Mr. Scott doesn’t endorse any of these bands by sharing a single song with you!)
