English 8 students continued with their introduction to the Schaffer model. We looked at an example paragraph and broke it down into its constituent parts. We’ll continue tomorrow with a scrambled Schaffer paragraph before we start writing our own next week.

English I students began planning their first paragraphs on the setting of “The Most Dangerous Game” and its relationship to the conflict. Students will continue working on it tomorrow.

  • a few still haven’t turned in “Thank You, Ma’am” — make sure you complete that;
  • complete the starters from this week as needed.
• English I Honors: 
  • make sure you have your TS specific and focused by tomorrow;
  • go through the practice test on Moodle to get a good feeling for how that component of the site works.
