English I students worked on Tom’s testimony in To Kill a Mockingbird. Students now have diagrammed notes about all testimony thus presented:

• Bob Ewell
• Mayella Ewell
• Tom Robinson

English 8 students discussed the play thus far using a new engagement called “Clock Buddies.” That could be the lamest name for a student activity, but the activity itself — promising.

We’ll be using the results for a Socratic Seminar tomorrow.

• English 8: complete scene 3 questions on Moodle as needed.
• English I Honors: 
  • complete lit circle work as decided by your literature circle;
  • turn in your Romeo and Juliet project if you haven’t already;
  • make sure you’re up to date with your Mockingbird paragraphs on Moodle.
