English 8 students finished up a week-and-a-half reading of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, looking especially at King’s use of figurative language:
Working together we saw that figurative language packs a lot of information into a small fragment of text: the explanations of figurative language are always much longer than the figurative language itself.
English I students completed act 3. We’ll have a test on acts 2 and 3 next Wednesday
