English 8 began the second phase of the research project: using the research we worked on last week to create an informational essay. We’re working with the following framework:
- Paragraph 1: Introduction
- Paragraph 2: Background
- Paragraph 3: Heroic Acts
- Paragraph 4: Why is this person a hero for doing what he/she does?
We’ll be working on this through the rest of the week (or at least until Wednesday).
English I students finished up 1.5, looking at a couple of passages:
