English 8 students went over their returned Schaffer paragraphs that dealt with “Thank You, Ma’am.” I’d finished up grading them last week and we hadn’t had a chance to go over them yet, so that’s how we started our day. Afterward, we went through chapter 2 from Nightjohn.

English I students had the day to do a little planning on their final analytic paragraph for the short story unit.
