We began the day with an analysis of clauses in a given sentence, as we’ve done for the last few days now.
This sentence was from Great Expectations, which is the final book we’ll be exploring this year starting later this week.
We finished up looking at verb mood just a little bit more, making sure students realized how the SC-Ready test would probably assess the topic.
Homework
- English I Honors:
- work on verb mood identification practice;
- continue reviewing the AOW vocabulary (a good tactic for reviewing these words would involve going back to the text and re-reading the words in context now that you know the meaning).
