Today we did a little new work with the article of the week: students shared with each other in their groups about the context clues they found for the word “fraught” in the article.

Afterward, students continued with Friday’s discussion question about whether Scout is a reliable witness or not. After having a brief in-person talk about it, students collaborated in synthesizing their thoughts into one paragraph.

We’ll go over their written discussions a bit tomorrow in class.
