Today we had the second of two parts of the state-mandated English test. As with the writing portion yesterday, the test lasted until after twelve, so we didn’t even have a full related arts class block. Students missed most of the first period, and remaining classes were on the standard testing schedule. We didn’t get a lot done due the fact that each class today was only half an hour.

English 8 students worked on their Anne Frank projects; English I students worked on their second LotF writing assignments. Homework is the same as yesterday.

  • complete the assessments of the first writing assignment by Monday (on Moodle);
  • continue working on the second batch of practice EOC reading tests (due next Monday);
  • read chapters 7 and 8 of LotF by Monday;
  • complete the second writing assignment by Friday (May 17).
