English I Honors worked on a couple of things: students who weren’t happy with their understanding of independent/subordinate clauses worked with me in a small group; students who felt fairly confident with that (as evidenced by IXL scores) had time to work on lit circle journals and/or the reading for tomorrow (see below).
English 8 students had individual practice on figurative language interpretation.
