Since we had the district-mandated second-quarter science benchmark test today, we only had half an hour per class. In English I Honors we went over prepositional phrases to solve any misunderstandings from the IXL work on that topic. In English 8 we spent time on IXL working on pronoun/antecedent identification and agreement.

Homework

  • English 8 Studies: none.
  • English I Honors: 
    • the act 3 test for Romeo and Juliet and phrases (from IXL)  will be on Wednesday;
    • the two connections for the project (about “Decoration Day”) will be due Monday or Tuesday.
