English Strategies (fourth period) finished up working on a text about traditions slaves brought with them from Africa and using context clues in the text to determine what words mean. It was slower going than I anticipated because of the difficulty of the text.

English Studies students finished up some group project work and some self-assessment.

English I Honors students had the day to plan their final writing assignment before their major project on the short story.
