First and fifth periods used a modified informational text about slave codes to practice once again the effective readers’ skills of the “Say Something” engagement. We began in class and will complete the work tomorrow.

Second and fourth periods began analyzing one of the two short stories we read for class earlier this week, “The Most Dangerous Game” and “Harrison Bergeron.” We began working on documentation by looking at and practicing how to incorporate direct quotes from our primary sources in our analysis.

We’ll complete the work tomorrow.

Homework
  • First and fifth periods: work on the final essay on goals and the non-traditional classroom.
  • Second and fourth periods: complete the topic sentences and concrete details from your outline for your selected story.
