First and fifth periods continued working on their first unit cumulative Schaffer-model essay. Through scaffolding, we had a day of whole-class modeling yesterday; today we took away some of the support and students worked in small groups to plan their second paragraph.

Second and fourth periods went over the test we had yesterday and had a chance to use the Schaffer model in planning an extra-credit essay re-write opportunity. Notes for the two classes (which were virtually identical) are here.
