First and sixth periods evaluated their reader’s journals and reviewed a bit for the upcoming research and persuasive writing project we’ll begin Monday.

Second and fourth periods really didn’t have class as the vast majority (literally 90%) were taking the P-SAT test today. Students who were in class worked on their projects.

Homework
  • First period: none.
  • Second and fourth periods: work on the rubric for the Odyssey project.
  • Sixth period: define vocabulary (stems).
  • Seventh period: add the climax and exposition to the plot diagram for “Bear Boy.”

  1. I don’t understand what the homework is asking us to do. Do we add to the rubric? Do we just read it?

  2. Add to it. Revise it. Take things from it. Edit it. Everything.

  3. Make it perfect.

  4. But of course! (What are you doing snooping around here?)

  5. I think I understand. I’m still confused, but you know when am I not.
