English I students were going to spend half the day finishing up their final drafts of their “Dangerous Game” analytic paragraphs. However, we discovered quickly enough that we needed more time to work on the drafts, so we ended up spending the entire period workshopping the paragraphs.

English 8 students went through a quick review of what is required to summarize a short story. We determined that most of the material we included in the summary was already on our plot diagram graphic organizers from Friday.
