Fourth- and fifth-period students worked on their Odyssey games. Some of the students are getting incredibly creative with their games. We’re all looking forward to playing them next week.

Sixth and seventh periods finished up “Under the Wire” today, doing some more reciprocal teaching (one student reads, one student summarizes — it’s a simplified version with fewer roles) and working on some summarizing questions.

Students who did not finish the questions in class will need to complete them for homework.

Homework

• English 8: complete comprehension questions.
• English I Honors: 
  • work on the game project as necessary;
  • prepare for the phrase test (next week) as needed.
