English I students began with a bit more practice on parts of speech identification
before turning to our poetry unit. We completed their work on connotations with “Those Winter Sundays.”
English 8 students took their second formative common assessment and then spent the rest of the period working on some No Red Ink practice from yesterday and completing the comprehension questions for chapter 2 of Nightjohn on Moodle (see below).
Homework

- complete chapter 2 questions on Nightjohn on Moodle (as necessary);
- work on No Red Ink practice.
- English I Honors:
- identify the highlighted parts of speech in numbers 16-20 above;
- complete the common assessment (link on Google Classroom);
- work on paragraph assessments on Moodle.
