English I students finished up 1.1 from Romeo and Juliet. We watched a performance of the opening scene from the BBC in the early 1970s (with Alan Rickman playing Tybalt) to see how accurately we had interpreted the scene. Afterward, students got their first taste of the extensive study guide.

English 8 students finished up some initial research on their CNN hero. We’ll move on to video sources Monday.

And advisory kids finished out the day working to decorate our portion of the hall a little more.

On a side note, our team’s very own Ms. Haenlein won the Teacher of the Year award for the 2022-2023 school year. Congratulations to our Hufflepuff math teacher!
