Students today looked at two discussion questions that they worked on as a group before responding to other groups’ ideas. We’ll be expanding this to a group presentation and whole-class discussion over the course of this week.

Homework

• English I Honors: 
  • read and respond to the discussion that you did not prepare in school;
  • read and rate the responses of others according to this scale:
    • 5: well-explained and reasoned with references to the book;
    • 1: little more than “I agree” or “I disagree”
  • read the interview from Google classroom (posted today);
  • continue reading Mockingbird (you’ll need to be through chapter 16 by Monday).
