Students today worked on their Romeo and Juliet projects. It was not something I’d planned on doing, but as I was looking at students’ work as they came to me in the morning before school, I realized that one more day of consultation would be really useful. We noticed a few issues that went across all classes:
- Students were forgetting to use transition devices in their CDs.
- Students were not italicizing Romeo and Juliet.
- Students were being excessively wordy in their topic sentences, making them somewhat unclear.
We will be turning these in tomorrow without exception.
