Students today worked on their first song for the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack project. Specifically, we made a list of all the connections between the song and the play that students had come up with yesterday and ranked them.

Afterward, students began planning just how to shape those paragraphs, selecting quotes for concrete details and working on first drafts for topic sentences.

We’ll continue working on this tomorrow.
