All classes cleared up a few loose ends today as we had a shortened schedule because of the public service presentation about the dangers of vaping that all classes in all grades attended today.

English I classes went over the poetry test that we had last week. Most students, I believe, were convinced they did much worse on the test than they actually did. That’s always a pleasant surprise for students. However, due to some poorly worded and poorly thought-out questions, there will be a curve to the final grade.

English 8 students looked at last week’s Nightjohn test and briefly went over the second quarter’s Friday inference work and how it differs from what we did dring first quarter.

At the end of class, I shared with students what Poles do during this time of year.
