English I Honors students finished their whirlwind tour of phrases (see notes). We’ll have some practice over the next week or so and then have a small test on it.

English 8 students finished yesterday’s work on “The Tell-Tale Heart.”

And congrats to the quarter one 100%-ers — students who have set the bar for the dedication and focus in fifth and sixth period.

Homework

• English 8: complete the work from this week on Google Classroom as needed (fifth period || sixth period).
• English I Honors: complete phrase identification work.
