All students went to the library today for orientation and the first opportunity to check out books. This shortened all classes by approximately twenty minutes.

English 8 students continued working with Nightjohn and effective readers’ skills. We’re working toward the ability to discuss effectively the texts we’re reading as we employ the basic skills all truly effective readers use.

English I Honors students continued working on their analytic Schaffer paragraphs examining the relationship between plot and setting in “The Most Dangerous Game.” We’ll be finishing this up and turning it in tomorrow.
