English I students, feeling the strain of having lost a day of instruction time and falling even further behind with Romeo and Juliet, went through 3.5 and saw just how desperate the situation now is at the end of the third act. Students now need to be working on their act 3 personal responses (see homework).
English 8 students took the single day we had before benchmarking tests to go over an objective/biased review as it wouldn’t make a lot of sense to start a new unit, spend one day on it, then have a day or two of testing before returning to the newly-begun unit.

- check the act 1, 2 personal response forum to see that I assessed your response (and email me if I didn’t);
- work on the act 3 personal response forum as necessary;
- make sure you have turned in your “Decoration Day” paragraphs.
