First and sixth periods began Nightjohn. We’ll be working on voice with the unit as well as some of the common reading skills: making inferences, drawing conclusions, and the like.
Second and sixth periods went over the homework from yesterday and began working on how to integrate quotes into their writing.
Homework
- First period: define the unknown word you recorded in your notes
- Second and fourth period:
- Complete writing assignment begun in class.
- Print a copy to bring to class and also
- Turn in online here.
- Sixth period: write a description of something or tell a short anecdote (story) two times:
- The first time, make it sound like Sarny (from Nightjohn) is saying it.
- The second time, make it sound like someone else that is unidentified yet identifiable. (Possibilities include: a homeless person; a well-educated engineer; someone from the future; someone from the past)
Mr. Scott do we answer the mood question because we didn’t learn it in class.
It does say “Answer one following questions.”
Oh ok thank you.
