First period worked out a discussion etiquette plan for the year’s coming group work. We’ll be going over our EQ (“How does literacy change lives?”) tomorrow as a practice before beginning the book, Nightjohn.
Second and sixth periods did a quick review of adverbs before thundering through conjunction junction.
Fourth period planned the rubric and presentation of the bias project, as well as a decision-making tree for determining whether or not an article is biased.
