Today in first and fourth periods we discussed what “fate” really was after some house keeping items regarding the “Decoration Day” workshop. We then broke off into groups and looked for mentions of fate in Romeo and Juliet in preparation for tomorrow’s work. 

Second and seventh periods began one of two days of in-class writing for the Holocaust heroes assignment. We began by reviewing one change I’ve made to the project rubric. We’ll finish up tomorrow before moving to the lab Thursday to type final drafts.

  • review the quotes we chose in class (available here), reading ten lines before and ten lines after each, and determine if they are good examples
  • find another example in act five.
