Mr. Scott’s class is the hardest class I have ever had, but also the most helpful.

This class is going to be the most difficult one you have taken but it’s extremely important to remember you are probably here because of your strong work ethic and good grades so it’s necessary that you keep up with those habits

The class of infamous difficulty and hardship. You may have heard that Mr. Scott’s class is overwhelming because of the amount of work there is or that will make you cry, but those are only true if you fail to prepare yourself and make changes in your habits.

Although this is a difficult class, it will help you improve immensely and as a former student who attempted to drop this class, it is clear that it is worth sticking around and seeing this year to the end.

I know you’ve heard the rumors of how bad Mr. Scott is but trust me there are worse teachers out there.

Mr. Scott is not working against you, in fact he is here to help you. It may seem horrible and never ending now, but it will help you in the long run.

In conclusion, I know Mr. Scott seems intimidating and scary but trust me he will be there for you because he wants you to be the greatest writer you can be.

The next one-hundred eighty days are about to be life-changing! If you are reading this you are lucky enough to have the hardest but most useful teacher of eighth grade. Mr. Scott has by far been my favorite teacher because of his challenging assignments, cheery attitude, and desire for you to think independently.

This school year you will have the misfortune of getting Mr. Scott’s English 1 Class. This class will push you to your very limits and make you want to break something at least three times a week. It is a class of very high standards and a lot of work that will eventually prepare you for your highschool years. The work you have will make it difficult to want to do but in the end you will become a better reader and writer because of it.

Although it may seem like Mr. Scott is just trying to make your life impossible, he doest do all of this to be mean, he just wants you to learn. I know right now you’re probably thinking that Mr. Scott is the worst and there is no possible way you can do this class. Please just trust me when I say, this class will make you so much better at writing, reading, and at the end of the year you will see how much you improved in just a couple of months. I have learned so much and become such a better writer and I know you will too.

Mr.Scott is the hardest teacher I’ve ever had. He will make you cry at some point this year.

Mr.Scott’s class is challenging but will help you do great in the long run. You will have to thank Mr.Scott for keeping his class tough and everything else he taught you.

[T]hroughout the beginning this class may seem like it is never going to end but as you get through the year you will notice that each unit feels shorter and shorter. It may even seem as if it is getting easier, but it is all just a sign of how much you have grown within the year.

This class will greatly prepare you for English 2, however, it will be a tough year and there may be some tears.

This class has many qualities such as hilarious, complex, and depressing, but it’s definitely one you will never forget in comparison to any other English classes you have ever and will ever take.

Welcome to Mr. Scott’s class. The place where I shed many tears, stressed so much I almost went bald, and learned more than I could have ever imagined. This class will most likely be one of the hardest you ever take. So now, go ahead and prepare yourself for some of the hardest and most work you will ever receive from any teacher. Go ahead and prepare yourself for countless late nights, wasted boxes of tissues and piles of papers. Finally, go ahead and prepare yourself for the longest year of your life.

This class is both one of the most stressful, and beneficial that you have taken, or will take for the rest of your time at Hughes. In English 1 Honors, you might face difficulties like being organized, staying focused, or keeping up with the writing assignments and projects.

Mr.Scott may come across as a harsh grader however he is preparing you. Next year when you walk into English 2 honors it will be a breeze.

Overall, Mr. Scott is not a mean teacher, but his class is one of the worst things you’ll experience this year.

Mr. Scott may seem like an innocent, and nice English teacher, but he will always make sure that his students are having a terrible time. […] Mr.Scott’s class is just pure evil.

If you are thinking that this year will be easy-going because it is your last year here, you are gravely mistaken and this class is the reason why. This class will be the hardest class you have ever taken, and there will be many times when you wish that you would have been in the other class. […] This class will be extremely difficult, but the result will be worth all of the hard work.

Welcome to one of the hardest classes you have taken in middle school. You might be thinking that this class will be a breeze like English classes in the previous years, but Mr. Scott’s class is no joke. […] He will push you to your absolute max, and him doing this can cause a lot of stress, confusion, frustration, and maybe some crying. Aside from this, his class will definitely construct you into a better student, writer, worker, and reader.

Mr. Scott’s class is definitely a difficult class, but afterwards you will find yourself writing much better paragraphs and noticing things in passages that you never would have seen before.

This class will challenge you to think outside of the box and may stress you out sometimes. But ultimately if you pace yourself, pay attention, and ask questions you will end the school year with good grades and new amazing knowledge.

After a few months, you might think that you want to drop out of this class but once you are finishing up the school year, you will realize how far you’ve come and you might even start to like English. At the end of this journey, you will even start to like Mr.Scott and realize how much his class has helped you one way or another.

I don’t think I have ever learned more in one subject in a singular school year.

I promise you it seems like a lot now but it will get easier and you will get through it. Mr. Scott is a very good teacher and he knows how to push you to your limits and even further than that. He seems very scary but if you do the work and put in the effort, you will prevail.

The RACE method will feel like a walk in the park with cute puppies compared to the lurking Schaffer model monster under the stairs. Topic sentences have to be so specific that it makes NASA calculations look easy. You have to look at your quotes with a magnifying glass and identify the parts that are the most important, and only put what is necessary in your paper. For example, “a quote like this just won’t do.” […] While you are in Mr.Scott’s class, you will also learn to juggle assignments like you are in the circus.

I hope you are very excited and proud of yourself for making it here. I’m sure you have heard all of the awful rumors and gossip about this class and I’m sure you think you know about all of the terrible, long, and difficult assignments and such you are given in this class, but you don’t even know the half of it. English 1 is more difficult than you could ever imagine. It forces you to think in a way that makes you want to curl up into a ball and cry, and believe me, you will. Even though I cried a few times, I soon realized that everything he taught us, every single assignment we’ve done, every single little paragraph I ever wrote in this class helped me to become a much better writer, reader, and overall student.

Although it may seem exciting and fun is not at all what it seems. This class is very hard and time-consuming. You will spend nights crying and staying up late every night throughout the year if you do not do things right.

Welcome to the most stressful and mentally difficult class you will experience in 8th grade. This class will make you cry. The assignments that you will face this year are extremely difficult and at times they will feel impossible. On top of the difficult work, you will also have to deal with Mr.Scott who makes the assignments feel ten times harder because he isn’t going to hold your hand the whole way through like past English teachers.

Welcome to Mr. Scott’s English 1 Honors class! This is an amazing class and even though it is a little difficult at times, it is a very great experience.

Mr. Scott’s class is everything you’ve heard: awful, tortures, bewildering, etc, but it’s also a class that will form you into a better student, and you will find yourself writing things that you never believed you could. But trust me, reaching this did not come easy.

[G]et ready for the hardest class you will ever take. Don’t expect your hand to be held or a walk in the park. You have Mr. Scott now and you’ll come to realize that having Mr. Scott is a blessing and a curse.

You are all in for a beating. If you have heard about Mr. Scott at all then you probably know that he is the most hardcore, intense, brutal, mean, serious, and unfunny (even though he thinks he is with his corny dad jokes) teacher you will ever have. He has no let-up and will push you to your very last brain cell.

This class is no joke. It is by far the hardest class that I have had and it most likely will be for you too.

I am sure that if you have earned your way into this class, you have heard the array of rumors regarding its difficulty. I for one recall questioning every former student to dig up any detail I could. I am here to tell you that the rumors about Mr. Scott and his dreadful class are not hearsay, but in fact very true. This class is very strenuous and involves lots of work.

Mr.Scott will also make sure that every one of his students is having a good time, all the time. But before we go into further detail, I want you to know that Mr. Scott’s class will be the hardest class you will ever take at Hughes.

If you were like me on my first day, you are very nervous to be in Mr. Scott’s class, not only because it is a high school course, but because of all of the gossip around Mr. Scott and how scary he is. […] Mr. Scott will teach you how to push through lots of tough things whenever you may think you can’t do it and cheer you up whenever you’re down.  Don’t dread him like everyone else does; look forward to the amazing opportunities you will have with him!

Welcome to the beginning of English 1 Honors the hardest class you will have ever taken in middle school. This class can cause chaos in your entire life if you do not put enough time into it. Also this class will make you feel stressed and maybe even make you even ball your eyes out.

He is probably one of the most frustrating teachers you will have because he never actually answers your question.

Mr. Scott’s English 1 honors class will be the hardest class you will take in middle school. […] Whether he acts like it or not he enjoys his students and wants what is best for them.

There are a number of things that make this class one of the hardest I have ever taken. Challenging projects, books and papers all require hard work to achieve an A. This is an advanced class and you can’t expect to get an A with no work put in.

Congratulations! You’ve made it to the dreaded Mr. Scott’s class! Buckle up because this is a very difficult course and the hardest I’ve ever had to work. It is a very big workload but will prepare you for high school!

I’m sure it was smooth sailing through 6th and 7th grade, but the worst is yet to come. This class brought me many tears and breakdowns, and it will be the most challenging class you have taken so far.

Welcome, to the torture chamber that you will call English class for the next year. But the only true enemy this year will be yourself. You will be tested in many things such as your will to learn, your mental fortitude, and maturity. But don’t worry the pain is only temporary.

Prepare yourselves for the most challenging class of your middle school years. This class will push you to your limit. There will be times where you will hate Mr. Scott, and you will learn he can be very annoying. Often he doesn’t answer your questions and just makes you figure them out on your own. But that will make you more independent as a writer and make you come up with your own ideas.

Most of your teachers are probably droning on about the student handbook, class rules, and retake policies, but not Mr. Scott. That’s your first clue about what kind of teacher he is. This class has most certainly been one of the most rigorous and challenging courses I have ever taken, but I have come out on the other side better for it.

This is going to be the hardest class you have ever taken.

In this class you will be faced with many difficulties and challenges that will push you to be a better student. English 1 Honors is the hardest class you will ever take at Hughes but you will become an excellent reader and writer after you finish this course.

Mr. Scott will push you past your limits and tears will be shed during this Journey. From the beginning to the end of a very long year you will come out a completely different writer and person once he is through with you.

This will be one of the most stressful and difficult courses you will take but it will help you in many ways. You will be a better and more improved writer by the end of the school year.

Mr. Scott only pushes you because he knows you can do it.

Don’t let [Mr. Scott’s] glumpy old face get to you: he’s kind of a nice guy that’ll make English a living hell but at least it’s only for 180 days.

This class is going to be very hard and very fun at the same time. By the time you are writing this paper, you are the best writer and reader you ever thought you would be.

Do not be afraid of this class. It will be the best class you will ever take and you will learn more about English than you could possibly imagine.

You’ve probably heard of Mr. Scott and his difficult class; unfortunately, everything you’ve heard about him is true. He makes you write like no other teacher has before, he makes you read more pages than you have ever read in your life, and he makes the worst puns you’ve ever heard.

The Dreaded Mr. Scott is an extraordinary teacher and will become one of your favorite teachers this year but his work is no easy walk through the park. It will be difficult and really make you think. This class is not like any class you’ve ever had before. But at the end you will feel ready and prepared for what comes next, high school.

Mr. Scott will definitely prepare you for high school, and maybe even college.

Mr Scott’s English 1 Honors class is the hardest class I’ve ever been in, but it’s also the funniest.

Buckle up your seat belt because you are in for a wild and dangerous ride in Mr Scott’s English One Honors class. This class may be one of the most difficult classes that you have ever taken, but you will learn a lot throughout the year.

Mr. Scott is arguably one of the most difficult teachers you will have, partly because of his high expectations and teaching style. Mr. Scott will always expect the best from you, and will accept nothing less. Even when you think your work is at its best, he will always find ways for you to improve it. Make sure to speak to him if you are not understanding anything, he can always help you.

This class that you have joined, can and most likely will be the toughest class you will ever take in middle school, but, it will teach you some of the most valuable lessons in writing and literature you will ever encounter.

Mr. Scott’s class was definitely the hardest class I have taken throughout my middle school career but at the same time going through all of the challenges will make you such a better reader and writer.

Mr. Scott’s class is one of the most challenging classes I’ve ever taken because of the commitment, work, and focus that you need to do well. He pushes his students constantly and makes his classes rigorous to teach as much as possible and prepare students for high school.

[D]on’t be too hard on Mr. Scott; he’s a great teacher if you let him be. He may have been scary at first with his straight serious face, but he makes sure to give you the best experience in learning and becoming a better person.

Overall, even though it had its challenges, I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Scott’s class. It was a chaotic year with all of the stuff that happened and I can honestly say I wish I had gotten to spend more time in that class with Mr. Scott as my teacher. It was my favorite class, even if the subject isn’t my favorite, and he is the best teacher I’ve ever had.

Mr. Scott is also one of the only teachers at Hughes that makes you laugh and cry at the same time. He always makes sure to give near impossible assignments just because you’re not already stressed enough. However, he always gives you a little joke to ease you up a bit. But I assure you, you’ve never seen anything like Mr. Scott’s class before.

Mr. Scott’s class is a very challenging class. It is the hardest class you will take at Hughes Academy.

It has been called a Scottpocalypse, it has been called torture, it has been called the hardest class in Hughes Academy middle school, Mr. Scotts eighth grade English class. The Scottnado whirls the most intense units ever at you at highway speeds with no mercy

Mr.Scott’s English 1 Honors class is one of the hardest and stressful classes I’ve ever been in.

Although Mr. Scott himself is a good person and a nice guy with a dry sense of humor, his class is DIFFICULT.

In the end, this will be one of the hardest, but rewarding, classes you take with all of the projects and deadlines.

This class will prepare you for pretty much anything. That’s all I really need to say if we’re being honest.

I love the way Mr. Scott teaches and he is the best teacher I have had in a long time

English 1 is a very difficult course, the hardest course I’ve taken. It requires a lot of time and effort to be in the course. You are lucky enough to have Mr. Scott so, you will struggle but learn a ton.

You are in the capable hands of Mr. Scott, a teacher who takes great delight in seeing his students succeed.

You’ll learn a great amount of knowledge, which may include things you’ve never heard of and don’t think you’ll ever need again, but it will help you greatly. Mr. Scott is a hard teacher, he expects more out of you than you expect from yourself, but you will find that he can be a good teacher.

English 1 is a very challenging class, which I know is possible to work through.  Sometimes it will feel as if Mr. Scott hates you and your class, so he gives you extra work. However, he teaches us so much, that I am grateful for the lessons we needed to learn to live our lives ahead of us.

This class is very difficult to pass and very challenging to get used to, but even though this class is very challenging, in many different ways, this class is very beneficial.

I hope you know what you have gotten yourself into. Mr. Scott is possibly the hardest teacher in all of Hughes Academy. You will never get a break from him, all it is is work, work, and more work. By the end of this school year, you will be very prepared for high school, but the process will be very difficult.

In the end, Mr. Scott is a very good teacher. He likes to challenge his students indefinitely. As I said, this will prepare you for harder classes as you get older.

This class may not be easy, but it will be worth it in the end when you see how much you have grown throughout the year.

I am leaving this class fully prepared for my high school English classes.

His class is extremely vigorous and takes a lot of effort, but it is a great class and will prepare you for your future classes

If you put aside how much he scares you for the first week or so, you will get to see that he is in fact not scary, and he is really nice and funny. He is also very fair and should be one of your favorite teachers.

You can expect a lot of hard work, but in the end it will pay off. Despite what you may have heard, Mr. Scott is not scary, he just likes to challenge your way of thinking and learning, and by the end of the year you will be glad he did.
