First and sixth periods worked on a short writing workshop, creating complex sentences in a first step to increasing sentence variety in our writing. Some of their notes are available here.

Second and fourth periods began a new unit on the short story. We’ll be looking at how to analyze literature from a variety of perspectives, laying down the foundation for the rest of the year.
