English I students finished up their first model selection, and we walked through the type of analytic paragraph we’ll be working on in this first unit. Afterward, we worked on integrating quotes into our CDs in a fluid and efficient fashion.

We’ll continue working on this throughout the rest of the week as we move toward our first analytic paragraph, which will be on “The Most Dangerous Game.”

English 8 students continued working on our first short story. Students are learning how we’ll be annotating district-decided selections in the new, district-mandated textbook to follow the district-required pacing guide.
