Welcome to the new school year, your eighth-grade year, the final year at Hughes. I am excited about this coming year and the plans I and other teachers have made to help you improve your reading and thinking skills (and if you are in English I Honors, your writing skills).

I use Remind.com to share information about upcoming assignments, homework, and general announcements. Please join your class or your child’s class below:

I always post a link to the day’s update on Remind.com, but I occasionally add more specific information and reminders there that are not here, so it’s good to connect through that site.
