English 8 Strategies (fourth period) students began The Glory Field today. It’s a seven-generation story about the struggles and triumphs of an African American family in South Carolina and is part of our new STEAM unit.

English 8 Studies students added the second poem to the unit and saw just how they will be connecting it to later portions of the novel.

English I Honors students learned what in medias res means for an epic by comparing the narrative order and the chronological order of the Odyssey.
