English I Honors students went on a field trip to see a production of Hamlet. We spent class time debriefing the play and dealing with a critical issue in the play: Hamlet feigns insanity, but there are indications that he actually does have mental health issues that worsen as the play develops. So was he crazy or just playing crazy?

English Strategies students went over a diary entry from 1942 to practice Effective Readers’ Skills while I was gone on the field trip.

English Studies had another day to work on their actual presentation project, which will begin later this week.
