English Strategies (fourth period) finished up their 1.2 summaries for Anne Frank and went to the library. We’ll be moving on the scene three Monday.
English Studies and English I Honors classes began implementing our latest STEAM unit, which involves using social media and exponents — odd combo. We’ll be trying to generate some exponential growth in social media by using Twitter (or at least writing tweets — not all students’ parents want them having a Twitter account) as an assessment tool. Then we’ll use our knowledge of Twitter and social media in a very unique way — more on that later.

- English I Honors:
- read 1.2 and 1.3 from Romeo and Juliet;
- complete the study guide for all three scenes;
- complete sonnets to turn in Monday. (You’ll need to print the sonnet twice on one page, with one copy of the sonnet scanned for meter and the three allowed mistakes circled.)
