First and fourth periods looked at rhyming and rhythm. We looked at the poem called “Papa’s Waltz” and “The Gift.” We looked at the pattern of stressed and unstressed words.

Second and seventh periods completed their first quarter projects and began exploring the Secret Annex where Anne Frank and her family hid during World War Two.
